Brisbane is the jumping off point for a multitude of cruises. There are a number of local cruises as well as cruises overseas destinations like the Pacific Islands and New Zealand. The most popular of the local cruises will take you to Moreton Island and Tangalooma resort which is set on a magnificent beachside location on the inshore or protected side of the island. Brisbane Whale watching cruises operate during the period from June to November from the Redcliffe wharf. These cruises have an almost 100% sighting record and travel onto the open ocean outside Cape Moreton to see whales.
The Moreton Bay Island provide a fantastic destination for day cruises and visit both Moreton Island and Stradbroke island.
